TRY telling me of any better use for five of your English pounds than buying this seriously impressive, stonking collection of 80 minutes worth of some of the finest artists in God's own county.

After a year of singles, tours, gigs, pain, love and loss since the release of the first such compilation, which sold out in record quick time, the label is back again with another superb mixture of diverse, yet solid sounds by well-established artists from around West Yorkshire and more.

It's only when you hear an album like this you realise just how much talent is sat right on your doorstep, and what a rich and varied musical heritage is going on right under your own nose.

Acts to feature include the likes of This Et Al, Paul Marshall, Monty Casino, The Twilight Sad, Pulled Apart By Horses, Grammatics, The Lodger, Fran Rodgers and so many more. It's perhaps befitting This Et Al's stellar new song Special Bear launches proceedings, but this isn't just about rocking monster mashes, but also the more melancholic offerings of superb singer songwriters like Paul Marshall and Benjamin Wetherill. A Big Mac … bugger off, I'd sooner have this album to digest any day!
