our very own fran rodgers was the overall winner for this year's futuresound competition to play leeds & reading festival this year! she'll play at midday on the festival republic stage in reading on friday 22nd august and at midday on the festival republic stage in leeds on saturday 23rd august

we are all over the moon for her, as she'll be playing alongside some big names.

she is currently working on an EP due to be released after the summer which is titled 'the green room ep' so look out for that soon.



that fucking tank will also be playing leeds & reading festival 2008 on the bbc introducing stage in leeds on the 22nd august and reading on the 24th august!

hello all.

it is with great regret we announce the end of this et al.

we've had a great time as tea but cracks have been forming over the past few years, some relationships within the band had broken down and we've now decided to move on with other things. further releases were planned but tea has sadly become unworkable.

we extend our thanks and gratitude (and apologies) to all the lovely people we've worked with or made slaves of over the years, our true friends, our families and of course to all the folks who've made the effort to see us play and buy our records. thank you.

there are no immediate plans for new projects but there will be in time, so it isn't all bad news. watch this space

we had high hopes for our latest ep to lead to an album, but it's sadly the only new material we will be releasing. only 500 were made so make sure you pick one up.

as a fond tea farewell, we will be releasing the originally planned retrospective 'b-sides & rarities' collection (details tba), including b-sides (obviously) and other unreleased material (some you may have, some you may not). keep your eye on www.thisetal.com or www.myspace.com/thisetal for updates.

due to a right royal balls up at the pressing plant "the figure eight ep" will now be released on monday 19th may. we're very sorry to those who were looking forward to getting hold of a copy on monday. those who have already pre-ordered will be receiving an mp3 of the ep as compensation very soon....

wintermute are to follow up their incredibly well received debut single with a brand new six track ep with the bone records in late may/early june to be released on cd and digital download from all major services. the ep is currently in progress and is being recorded with the fantastic james kenosha (grammatics, this et al, duels) over the next few months. the release will also see wintermute heading out on a national tour of the uk. keep your eyes peeled for more information coming soon
