A raw, battling, exciting and down to earth song, the Leeds trio's 'To Conquer' begins with gentle, well-played guitar before fighting in to heavy riffs and the crash of drums. The vocals are well sung; with power but retaining feeling and intonations.

'To Conquer' makes complete sense: the melody is echoed by the guitar, creating a lovely, satisfied feeling. The reverb gives a sense of atmosphere and spirit held by post-rock bands such as Sigur Ros, but with the epic quality of Muse. Fuzzing, merging guitars are all part of the feel of this song - a very satisfying release.
